Is Space Limited or Limitless....?

Hey guys, this topic for me is something I am really interested in......my question to you is that do you think Space is limited or limitless?

Personally I think Space is limited because we (Scientists, Civilians) only think its limitless and neverending because we havent and never will have the technology to go beyond the realm of this infinit Space, but I do think maybe there could be other dimensions out there apart from what we call 'Space'.

I mean the topic for me just opens up endless possiblies of what, where, how, when, etc

Where to begin. I say it would be limitless. Just a guess really. But how would space end? if space ends then whats past the end point and what is the end point an invisible wall/.

i like to think of it as a men in black type thing, at the end of the second one when the aliens are playing marbles with our universe.

I think space would end, and go into another dimension like a different atmosphere if that makes sense, maybe it would be brighter than space, if you believe that space has Black Holes those holes could maybe transpart things like meterors etc into another place

Isnt space always expanding ? Or maybe I wasnt listening during Astronomy. Damn subject was awful.

Yup. I learned nothing in that astronomy module. Somehow I passed. tbh My knowledge on space is extremely bad.

Space is not Infinite, I remember being taught it is like a balloon, constantly expanding but none the less still has an 'end'

We cant see whats beyond the end because the Universe is made up of time, space and matter. Am sure the Universe is only around 14 billion years old as well, lol so just a youngin

yeh ur right m8 so when it runs out of energy to keep expanding the univers will collapse on its self

just think how many times we have already lived this life and how many more times we will live it ?

The known universe has been expanding for billions of years, and as soon as the higgs boson is found, then we could have better answers.

I don't think space is limited at all.

yes the Elusive Higgs Boson, I would say if this type of particle is found within the different kinds of dark matter etc, then many questions could have answers to them, as this can also tell us how old the Universe actually is and it will support scientists theories more about the The Big Bang theory.

But althought our galaxy is compiled of many planets and moons that orbit the earth etc, planets like Pluto are millions of light years away which take probes even 15 years to travel to and probes travel at speeds around 50,000 miles per hour because they our lightweight and there is no aero dynamic drag or humans inside to keep safe.

So that said there our 1000s of galaxys within the universe and this has been proven as every star is a Sun just like the one we have today, so space does seem limitless when you think of it like that but, everything must have a boundry and thats why I think space is Limited.
