American VS British?

So, we all know the deal. When ever an American or a Brit comes face to face in a game, it 90% always ends up with both throwing insult after insult at each other. But he comes the real question, which side starts it all off?

From me as a person, I find its usually the Americans that start it off. Lets take my matches on CoD4 earlier as an example. Me, Mental Pirate and Saoke all booted up to play a bit of CoD4 and get more used to working as a team, which most people do these days anyway.

So we've been happily playing for roughly an hour, when suddenly a party of Americans comes into our game. No biggy, we've got nothing against Americans. So we carry on as we do, communicating and calling out enemies positions when you hear that comment "Do I hear a British accent in here?" Naturally we say, "Yeah we're British". Then, for NO REASON we start getting crap like "God, I ****ing hate the British" and "You guys suck". As any person would do, we ask em "Seriously, wth have we done to you?". Boom! All of a sudden we get hit by "your mum" comments and the old "go get a cup of tea you stupid brit". Of course we reacted at this, as we had oviously done nothing to annoy these guys, and they've just come in and started giving us aload of jip.

Anyway, that was my opinion on who is to blame for the majority of the arguements. So lets hear what you have to say. Answer honestly, its not like I'm gonna tell you what your doing is wrong.

Just like to note, I have nothing against Americans, just idoits like the ones I played with earlier...

90% of the time this never happens to me. I normally get gobby english chav kids who hav'nt hit puberty yet.

The Americans I meet online seem to be a lot more annoying but the British are the ones who are more inclined to get abusive. Ane xample being onethreatening to come to were I live and cut me.

The amount of times I've had abuse off of Americans is unreal. Especially when on Gears, and a few of us with the iSu tag are in the same Ranked room. 'Your clan sucks' has been heard so many times it's unreal. I just find it pathetic, and really can't be assed with it all, so I generally just ignore it. I find the best way is just to beat them, it normally shuts them up.

As for English....well as had been said, they are usually more violent and get properly aggressive, as compared to the Americans who are generally just straight out immature.

I do know 1 or 2 decent Americans though, so they aren't all bad!

Yeah the amount of abuse we get is stupid, but i agree with Kat : in my experiences Americans just try to be funny and they just arent. "Hey do you guys brush your teeth" "tea and crumpets" the best thing is to just laugh at em'

British guys tend to be more racist and viscious so I just mute them. If you mute them no problems

I've had a few troubles off of Americans, mostly the clan crap and I'm crap blah blah blah. Like once on COD4 I turned a corner and bang! I'm blown up by a mine ( I can't even remember what their called now! RSV 2 on the brain). Then this kid says ''omg! You should have seen that you dumbass!'' and continued this throughout the whole game, ''don't you think Kai's a dumbass guys?''. It's like shut up! I eventually just yelled at him and he remained quiet for the majority of the game....until he finally found a ''comeback'' about my mum..lmao. Hard aint ya
I usually just brush it off but if they really get on my nerves I may yell at them.....insult back etc..
