The forums provided by WorldofClans (WoC) are for discussions about xbox live clans, games, and other related issues.

Most of our forums are open, and anyone can post their own messages, or reply to those posted by others. There are some exceptions where posting is limited to staff of WoC only.

A) When using our forums, please observe the usual rules of Netiquette, but in particular:

1. Please try to stay on topic! These are Xbox live clans, and xbox 360 gamers forums, and messages having some relevance to the Xbox live community are much more likely to be of interest to the people here.

2. When replying to a previous message, only quote as much of the original as necessary. Don't repeat a long message, then put "I agree!" at the bottom... It's hard to read, and annoying.

3. Threatening behaviour is not acceptable. This applies to any posts containing offensive statements relating to sexual orientation, race, religion or other factors having no relevance to the subject.

4. Messages should usually be posted to one forum only, and this should be the one appropriate to the subject. Multiple user account registrations are not allowed, any infraction of this, will see all your accounts deleted.

5. Advertising your clan site is allowed on the forums, and around the website. Commercial adverts are not permitted in any way. No one here is interested in unverified advertising. Please use the Advertising link at the bottom of the site if you wish to find out how to advertise.

6. The Acceptable Use Policy applies to private messages, forums, Users personal profile pages and all sections of the site.

7. When making posts, please make the title explain the contents of the post. Please do not use one word titles for your posts.

B) Public Forums and User Submissions

The Website Owner is not responsible for any material submitted to the public areas by you - which include forums, hosted pages, chat rooms, or any other public area found on the website. Any material (whether submitted by you or any other user) is not endorsed, reviewed or approved by the Website Owner. The Website Owner reserves the right to remove any material submitted or posted by you in the public areas, without notice to you, if it becomes aware and determines, in its sole and absolute discretion that you are or there is the likelihood that you may, including but not limited to -

1. defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the rights of other users or any third parties;

2. publish, post, distribute or disseminate any defamatory, obscene, indecent or unlawful material or information;

3. post or upload files that contain viruses, corrupted files or any other similar software or programmes that may damage the operation of the Website Owner's and/or a third party's computer system and/or network;

4. violate any copyright, trade mark, other applicable UK or international laws or intellectual property rights of the Website Owner or any other third party;

5. submit contents containing marketing or promotional material which is intended to solicit business.

This AUP can change at any time so please do check back regularly, as this is the first place staff will point you if you forget any of this AUP.
