Supposed Skate 2 Details

According to Tiscali Games, the latest issue of EGM’s carrying the first proper details of EA’s SKATE 2.

Apparently, the game’s going to include video uploading using EA’s own hosting and space.

The details are supposedly as follows:

* Takes place five years after the original game, after the city’s been rebuilt after an unknown disaster.
* Allows play as a female character. (woot!)
* Includes a Tiger Woods-style character editor.
* Allows the player the get off the skateboard and walk.
* Includes teleporting to previously marked locations.
* Camera includes another third-person perspective.
* Allows video uploads using EA hosting.
* Supposedly runs at 60 frames per second.

All sounds very good, and much improved. But how much of this is rumour?

Would be good to see this running at 60fps though. A nice smooth skating game, and marking locations, sounds like the perfect game.

Didn't the first one have this or was that only the beta?

Also has a new move called the hippy hop where you can jump of the board and land on it a metre or so ahead for jumping over benches etc while your board continues underneath.

skate is a brilliant game, cant wait for the second one and the ability to walk
