Towel trick

The towel trick acctually worked for me. Although its only meant to be a temporary fix I am happy so I can still play 360. Just tought I would give people a heads up.

Worked for me for like 4 days then conked out again just flung it in the bin after that as It was an old one that I had took to bits ages ago when it got rrod.

Got an arcade now.

the x clamp fix also works joker, did it my elite when that give up and it lasted a while longer (traded it in for a Resi Red Elite, Gamestation fools lol)

I was going to try the xclamp fix but when I opened it up I tought the T10 would have done the job but looks like I need a different screw driver to get at the xclamps.

Aye i think its a T7 mate

But it usually works well or it will work well enough to get rid (trade in for a credit note then go back next day and get another one lol)

Yeah 360 is completely gone now. It got the 3RROD again so I tried towel trick again but anything I did it after 5 minutes the console would turn off. I booted it up and it worked again and then got a E79 error. Tried it again and then got an E68 error. Grrrrrrrr it's so annoying 3 360 in my house and 2 of them dont work and are over warrenty.

That sucks. I remember the towel trick worked for my mate. My 360 isn't under warranty as I bought it in the UK. Fingers crossed that it holds up

take it to the shop and say microsoft sent you. Works a treat, failing that aint the rrod warranty now extended to 3 years from microsoft? I sent them a console i had butchered trying to open, and they still sent me a new one.

Consoles over 3 years. Had it since launch. I checked with them already before I opened it up. Every piece of technology is breaking for me. I don't even abuse my stuff. Always keep them in nice condition
