Need help. i got my Cap card today. I set it up and installed the drivers. But in pinnicle studio the screen is black top right.

Im not sure about that, is the capture card operating correctly?? Also have u tried reinstalling the program...sounds simple but often these sorts of probas are caused by an installation error.

Potleg i kno has this program im sure that he will help if he can. You could always try a different piece of software if the problem persists....Vegas or Moviemaker.

Are you using XP or vista? If you are using vista you have to download a patch off there website that could fix it.

Im using XP. looks like its the software. I downloaded AMcap and it showed the image . Anyone know some good video capture software PS windows movie maker dosnt work also.

In the Pinnacle software, make sure the capture source settings are set to NTSC.

I know it shouldn't need to be, NTSC, but set it up using that, and see if you get a picture.

I fixed it. I was given the black one so it dont record in 60hz. I have to use amCap to display the screen then use camtasia to record it.
