World of Clans Big Clan Bash 3 - Gears of War 2 5v5 Guardian Event

This Gears of War 2 Event will be using the World of Clans Matchmaking forums to organise your matches similar to what we are doing for the Modern Warfare 2 events, the matches can be played anytime you want and for as many times as you want throughout the week of the BCB 3, your results will add up to your clans overall BCB 3 score. All Matches will be played on the Guardian mode with each clan hosting a map we will be using a variation of the default settings for the matches in this event so please read up on the settings their would be no need for multiple weapon swaps the only things that would need to be change will be to swap frags with ink grenades, the map selections will be as a vote so its upto the clans in the lobby to make a vote of their map selection.

You can only challenge and play the same clan twice, this is to ensure that clans are not constantly spamming the weaker clans with challenges, this was an issue with the last BCB event which we look to improve upon. we do look to invite alot of clans to participate in our events so no clan would be short on matches throughout the BCB 3

A "Lag Test" must be completed prior to starting the match. This is a test round that does not count and uses the standard game settings that will be used during the match. For the lag test, a map that is not scheduled for play must be used. If the connection isnt good then a suitable host must be found from the clans taking part in the matches.

Tournament Settings

Each match is the best of 3 maps
decider map is hosted by the challengeing team
the map selection is set to vote so the map choices is whatever the vote system shows up.

The clan that wins a match gets 3 points, the losing clan will get 0 points
more matches played and won more points are added to your overall BCB 3 score.

Lobby Settings

1. Starting Weapon = Any
2. Game Type = Guardian
3. Total Rounds = 3
4. Bleed-Out Time = 15
5. Friendly Fire = On
6. Map Selection = Vote
7. Weapon Spawning = Customise

Weapon Swaps

The weapon swaps must be performed before the maps take place so everything is correct to ensure the match is as good as possible. When you enter the weapon swapping screen make sure you press X to restore any swaps to its default incase you have weapons swapped in previous games.

Frag Grenades > Ink grenades - for every map played

This event relies on all clans to be as active as possible throughout the week of the Big Clan Bash, the scores that you ecumulate here will be added to your overall BCB Score so if your clan does not play the other games that we support in the Big Clan Bash 3 then this event would be your primary way of ecumulating points for your clan. some of our events are sponsored with a prize so watch out for these events.

About the BCB 3

The Big Clan Bash 3 is a period of furious clan match after clan match, with all clans aiming to stack up the most points before the tournament is over. Entry is free, and we are using several different rule sets, and we welcome all clans, new and veteran alike.

During the event, clans can freely challenge other clans to any game-mode on Modern Warfare 2 and only the guardian mode on Gears of War 2. These matches will use the default "match making" rules and settings. During the week, we will launch specific ONE DAY tournaments for some of the more popular game modes, from a Search and Destroy tournament, to Capture the Flag, for Gears of War 2 we have a wingman tournment that will be a one night only tournament their are limited team places of upto 8 teams so you may need to be quick to book a place.

We have built a specific Match Finder for this Modern Wafare 2 and Gears of War 2 Guardian, and clans may start arranging matches right now if they wish. The Match Finder for Modern Warfare 2 covers all platforms, so please be aware when accepting challenges, or posting challenges.

The signup isnt looking too good on the gears side of things compared to the amount of invites so for this gears 2 guardian event if we do not get more than 10 clans signed up then this will be a Knockout tournament hosted on tuesday 17th of nNovember from 8pm itll be a one night only event.

This Guardian Tournament has now been cancelled due to the lack of teams signed up to this event, clans entered in the BCB 3 can still challenge for Gears of War 2 matches in the open match finder for any gamemode
